How to create a new BT Email address for yourself (sub account)?

  • Open a web browser of your choice in a computer.
  • Go to the in the URL section of the Browser.
  • Then Login to My BT using the BT ID.
  • In your BT Mail Account, click on Your Package and then go to Inclusive Extras.
  • On the next page, click on BT Mail icon and then click on Create new Email Address.
  • Now you have to choose the new email address for the BT Sub Account or you can select from the given options.
  • Finally, enter your password and to confirm click on Create email.
  • A confirmation email will arrive in your mailbox and in a few minutes, you will be able to use the email address you have created.


How to create a new BT Email address for another household member (affiliate account)?

  • Open a web browser of your choice in a computer.
  • Go to the in the URL section of the Browser.
  • Then Login to My BT using the BT ID.
  • In your BT Mail Account, click on Your Package and then go to Inclusive Extras.
  • Then click on BT Mail icon and then choose to Manage BT Email.
  • Select the option “Give an email” by scrolling down on the page.
  • Now fill out the details of the new user carefully. If you have already added someone then you can also choose that user.
  • The new user will receive a link to confirm and activate the BT Affiliated Account. This is valid for up to 30 days.
  • Now the new user can set up the mail by clicking on the link and also create a new password for the account.

How to activate a BT Email address that’s been given to you?

If you have given a BT Email then you need to activate it to be able to use it.

  • Start by clicking on the unique link sent to you by another user or by BT Email.
  • Then you need to create BT ID for entering an existing one.
  • Now you need to create an email address or you can also use the one set up by the primary user. This will become your BT ID.
  • Then you will be asked to create a password, generate security question and other account details.
  • Click on Continue button when you are ready.
  • Once done with above steps, you will get a welcome email from BT Email. After that, you will be able to use BT Mail on your device.
